Bubble needs what you bring
We recently had a great discussion in our Momentum Academy Q&A group call.
The main idea was that Bubble is a very capable tool. The main thing slowing down wider adoption of Bubble are:
- Talented people investing the time to learn the tool, while also
- Seeing the many opportunities in their context, and then
- Executing their ideas while concurrently “selling” them (selling may be actually making a sale, or it may be pitching their ideas to their workplace, business or industry and getting buy-in to proceed).
Here are some examples of the contexts of our students, and what they are hoping to achieve through the course.
1. Build an agency focusing on internal tools for businesses
One of our Australian group members shared how he wanted to start a Bubble agency targeting medium-to-large enterprise to build internal tools.
Concurrently to our 8-week program, he is building out a sales dashboard in Bubble to show the current team he manages how each product line is performing against target.

His background is as a Salesforce solution architect, trainer and founder. The possibility he sees for Bubble in his professional world is to offer a cost-effective replacement for Salesforce to build internal tools like the one mentioned above.
He has already spoken to several people in his networks, and several were positive to exploring this with him further.
2. Build a dynamic, data driven website for a startup
One of our Californian students was asked by a startup to recreate and expand their website in Bubble, to allow the founders greater ability to make changes and to be more data driven.
Her background is in journalism, writing, real estate and most recently freelancing as aBubble developer. Her goals are to improve her skills as a Bubble skills, to build personal projects, and to launch her own business(es).
She already has buy in from her current clients to rebuild their website, and is working on her own platform to inform people about health concerns about consumer products.
3. Build a ChatGPT enabled marketing tool to automate cross-format social media content creation.
One of our Australian students is creating an internal tool for his marketing agency to take the grunt work out of converting social media content across formats using a combination of existing assets and ChatGPT prompting.
His background is in digital product management, audio-visual engineering and leading a digital marketing agency.
He saw the possibilities of using ChatGPT to optimise his current workflows, and reduce the need for employees/contractors to spend days each week doing things that ChatGPT is capable of within his profession.
Conclusion
Each of these students at Momentum Academy have between 20–30 years of experience in their fields, are utilising Bubble to solve unique problems they have, and turn these into software solutions.
The possibilities of Bubble and no-code platforms in general are endless. The only limits are your skills and your vision for what you can create.
Where this story went
We spent five years mastering Bubble. Now we build with AI.
Momentum was one of the world's leading Bubble.io agencies — that's why we wrote this article. These days we build and migrate the same kinds of products with Claude Code: real, portable code your own team can amend with AI. If you're weighing up a move off Bubble (or any platform), we've made the journey ourselves.
