Proof of concept

Try your ideas rapidly in the real world with a quick Proof of Concept in say 4–6 weeks. Test your key hypothesis — will users want your core feature? Quickly validate your assumptions before investing further. Test your ideas with 100–500 users.

Minimum viable product

Getting traction? Develop your Proof of Concept into a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) in 8–12 weeks. By MVP, we mean a fully functional, custom web platform with one or two primary features enabling you to collect payments from and run a viable business. Grow your user base to between 1,000–10,000 users.

Your actual product v1.0

By now you are bringing in real revenue. Shore up your one or two primary features for your first 1,000–10,000 customers and start to add additional functionality. Grow and scale. Contemplate developing a hybrid no-code / actual-code architecture for parts of your solution if there is a tangible reason to do so.

Our mission is to build the next generation of transformative technology products. We do this by “developing high quality, scalable tech products using no-code tools.”

Problems we solve

Momentum is seeking to solve the following problems in the Bubble.io and no-code ecosystem:

1. There is a large number of low-quality, unscalable solutions built on Bubble. By low-quality, I mean poor UXUI and technical design, often lacking in scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.
2. Bubble.io gives the power of building web apps without code to anyone, but even so, building a complex web application on Bubble is hard and requires a dev background (or commitment to learning for >6 months full time to become a dev yourself — read about my journey).
3. There is a shortage of Bubble.io developers who can deliver the full potential of the Bubble platform relative to demand.

Our Solutions

In response, our aspiration is to:

1. Build high-quality, scalable tech products on Bubble.io that are reliable, secure, and maintainable.
2. Make Bubble easier by providing courses, development guidelines, templates, plugins, integrations, and documentation structures into the ecosystem.
3. Develop a workforce to make the capabilities of Bubble available to everyone who would like to access them.

Another problem we’ve observed is that some Agencies set unrealistically low expectations about the cost of engaging experienced people to do quality work.

They are optimising for high speed and turnover of small projects. But so often, these initial proof of concepts need to be completely reworked, adding “unforeseen” costs and frustrating clients.

In response, Momentum’s aspiration is to optimise for quality and scale throughout the whole process. This includes the $15–30k Proof of Concept, the $30–50k Minimum Viable Product, through to the $50–100k fuller product vision being realized. (These are very round numbers to give you a guide as to likely project costs).

Our services

1. Discuss your UX Design and Bubble.io Dev needs with us.

We engage on a weekly basis, providing a full-time Specialist (Designer or Dev) and a 5hrs of a supervising Lead at a fair rate. We run an agile process with an agile board, daily “stand-up” meetings, and engage with our clients as much as possible.

You can purchase blocks of time (e.g. a 4-week dev sprint), or engage us fractionally, e.g. 3 days per week over 3 months.

We can also find, train, place, and supervise a full-time UX Designer or Bubble developer into your business on a temporary or permanent basis.

Right now, we are working with Startup Founders, Business Owners, CTOs, Design Directors, Traditional Dev Agencies, Product Engineer Leads, Venture Capital Firms, and Academics to embed our capabilities as a professional no-code product team into their organisations.

2. Support packages

We offer professional tier monthly support Bubble.io packages, ensuring you receive a timely response to issues that may be encountered once projects go live. These include agreed response times and a number of hours of support time.
