Sydney · keep the store, own the site
Move your marketing site off Shopify
We won't move your store — that's the honest answer. But your content, blog and brand pages don't need to live inside a Shopify theme. We build those as a fast site you own.

Here's the honest version most agencies won't give you: if you sell online, keep Shopify for the checkout — it's the right tool and we won't talk you out of it. What often doesn't belong on Shopify is everything around the store: your blog, landing pages, brand and content, all fighting a theme system and Liquid templates. We rebuild that marketing layer on Astro — fast, owned, near-free to host — and keep Shopify doing what it does best, linked seamlessly.

Why Momentum
When it's worth splitting the site from the store
If Shopify is comfortably running your whole site and you're happy, keep it — we'll tell you so. The case to split appears when your content and marketing pages are slow, hard to design the way you want, or expensive to maintain inside a theme, and when SEO and AI-search visibility matter more than the store templates allow. Moving the marketing layer to Astro gets you speed, ownership and full design freedom, while the store stays exactly where it should. For a pure store with little content, this usually isn't worth it — and we won't pretend otherwise.

- Store stays on Shopify — zero checkout risk
- Faster, owned marketing site
- Full design & SEO freedom
- Content out of the theme system
FAQ
Common questions
Are you telling me to leave Shopify?
No — the opposite. If you sell online, Shopify is the right place for your products, cart and checkout, and we won't move it. This is about the marketing site around the store — the blog, landing pages and brand pages — which often works better as a fast, owned site that links to your Shopify store.
How do the two sites work together?
Seamlessly to a visitor. The Astro marketing site carries your brand and content and links straight through to your Shopify store for anything transactional, with consistent design across both. If you want, we can pull product content in headlessly via Shopify's API so it stays in sync.
Will splitting the site hurt my Google rankings?
Not when it's engineered. We inventory every URL, map and test 301 redirects before launch, and stage the cutover so nothing goes dark — then monitor rankings afterwards. Content pages usually rank better once they're fast and out of the theme system.
What does this save me?
It's less about the Shopify bill (you keep that) and more about speed, SEO and freedom on the content side — plus removing theme apps and per-change costs for your marketing pages. We'll be straight about whether the split pays off for your setup.
What if I'm mostly a content brand with a small shop?
Then this fits especially well: build a fast, owned content and marketing site on Astro, and keep a lean Shopify store for the products you do sell. You get the best of both without forcing your whole brand through a store template.
