Sydney · past the Squarespace ceiling

Migrate off Squarespace

You've hit the template ceiling. We rebuild your Squarespace site as fast, fully-custom code you own — without losing the look, or your Google rankings.

SEO-safe migration

Squarespace makes a good-looking site — until you need it to do something the template won't. Every real customisation becomes a code-injection hack, you're still renting the platform monthly, you can't self-host, and you never own the code. We rebuild Squarespace sites with Claude Code on Astro: the design you like (or better), full custom freedom, near-free hosting, and code that's yours — with every URL 301-mapped so your search equity moves with you.

  • Staged cutover — nothing goes dark

  • Fast Astro build you own on GitHub
  • Editable CMS, no monthly platform fee
  • Free hosting, schema & LLMO wired in

Why Momentum

When it's time to leave Squarespace

If Squarespace does everything you need, keep it — we'll tell you so. The case to move is when you're fighting the template, stacking up code-injection workarounds, want genuinely faster pages, or simply don't want to rent your website forever. We rebuild to match the look you already like, carry your content and rankings across, and hand you code you own — so the next change is a five-minute edit, not a platform limitation.

FAQ

Common questions

Will my site still look as good off Squarespace?

Yes — we rebuild to match the design you like, or improve it. The difference is that it's now fully custom code with no template ceiling, so it can do things Squarespace never let you.

Will I lose my Google rankings leaving Squarespace?

Not when it's engineered. We inventory every URL — including Squarespace's /s/ asset and blog paths — map and test 301 redirects before launch, stage the cutover, and monitor rankings afterwards to confirm they held.

Can I bring my Squarespace blog and content across?

Yes. Your posts and pages are inventoried and either carried over into content collections, consolidated, or redirected to the closest relevant page — deliberately, based on what each URL earns in search.

How long does a Squarespace migration take?

Typically two to four weeks for a marketing site, depending on page count and any custom functionality you need rebuilt.

What does it cost to run after Squarespace?

Usually just your domain (around $20 a year). Netlify's free tier hosts most business sites, so the monthly Squarespace subscription goes away.

On a different platform?

Start from where you are now — each guide covers that platform's specific quirks, redirects and running-cost.
