Common questions
Can I just export my site from Wix?
Not meaningfully — Wix has no real export, which is exactly why leaving is a rebuild rather than a file transfer. We lift your content and design and rebuild them as code you own, so you're never in this position again.
Will my Google rankings survive leaving Wix?
Yes, when it's done properly. We inventory every URL — including Wix's old hashbang (#!) paths — map and test 301 redirects before launch, and stage the cutover so nothing goes dark. Rankings are monitored after launch to confirm the move held.
Do I keep my domain name?
Yes. We point your existing domain at the new site, and if it's registered with Wix we help you transfer it out so everything sits under your control.
How long does a Wix migration take?
Usually two to four weeks for a marketing site, depending on page count. The rebuild is quick with Claude Code; most of the care goes into content and the redirect map.
What will it cost to run after I leave Wix?
Typically just your domain (around $20 a year). Hosting on Netlify's free tier covers most business sites, so the monthly Wix plan disappears entirely.
